How to make cucumber apple salad
Wash the cucumber and apples thoroughly. Cut up the apples into small cubes. Toss the chopped apples in lemon juice and set aside while you cut up the cucumber.
Drain the apple to remove excess lemon juice then combine the apples with the cucumber.
Mix the honey and apple cider vinegar to make the dressing. Pour the dressing into the bowl with the apples and cucumber. Toss till all are coated in the honey vinegar dressing.
Refrigerate till ready to serve.

Apple cucumber salad
Ingredients
- 2 apples (red delicious or honey crisp)
- 1 large English cucumber
- 1 Tablespoon honey
- 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
- 1-2 Tablespoons lemon juice (to toss the apples in)
Instructions
- Wash the apples and cucumber thoroughly.
- Core and dice the apples into small cubes. Transfer the diced apples into a bowl and toss them with the lemon juice to prevent browning. Set aside.
- Cut the cucumber in half lengthwise, then slice each half into half or thirds and dice. Transfer to a bowl
- Drain the lemon juice from the diced apples and add them to the cucumber.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the honey and apple cider vinegar until well combined.
- Drizzle the dressing over the diced apples and cucumber then toss gently until well combined and evenly coated with the dressing.
- Refrigerate the salad for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to blend in.
