How to make Snowman Oreo balls
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside for later.
Put the Oreo cookies in a food processor or high-speed blender and blend until they form fine crumbs.
In a large bowl, use a hand mixer on high to beat the softened cream cheese until it becomes smooth.

Add the Oreo crumbs to the cream cheese and mix on medium speed until everything is evenly combined.
Using a 1.5-inch cookie scoop, scoop out equal portions of the mixture, roll each portion between your hands to form smooth balls, and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Once all the balls are shaped, refrigerate them for 2 hours.

While the balls are chilling, prepare the snowman hats. Melt about ¼ cup of candy melts in a melting pot or microwave.
Use a skewer to dab some of the melted candy onto the top of an Oreo half, then press an upside-down Rolo candy on top. Add sprinkles if you like. Make the rest of the hats and set them aside to harden.

In a double boiler over low heat (or using a microwave on low), melt the white candy melts, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
Using a fork, dip each Oreo ball into the melted candy. Tap the fork lightly on the side of the bowl to remove excess coating. Place the coated ball back onto the parchment-lined tray.

Quickly decorate each ball by adding sprinkles for the snowman’s face: two black sugar pearls for eyes, a carrot-shaped sprinkle for the nose, and more black pearls for the smile. Work fast before the coating hardens.
Place the Oreo and Rolo hat on top of the ball. If the coating has already hardened, dab a little melted candy on the top before attaching the hat. Hold the hat in place for a few seconds to secure it. Repeat with the remaining Oreo balls.

Let the snowman Oreo balls set completely for about 15 minutes. Store them in the fridge until you’re ready to serve. Enjoy!

How to store
To store your snowman Oreo cookie balls, place them in an airtight container and keep them in the refrigerator.
They will last for up to 5 days. If you want to make them ahead of time, you can also freeze them for up to 2 months.
Just thaw them in the fridge before serving to maintain their shape and texture.

Helpful Tips
- Use Softened Cream Cheese: Make sure your cream cheese is softened to room temperature before mixing it with crushed Oreos for a smoother texture.
- Chill Before Dipping: After shaping the Oreo balls, chill them in the fridge for at least 20 minutes to ensure they hold their shape when you dip them in melted chocolate.
- Work with Parchment Paper: Place your dipped Oreo balls on parchment paper to avoid sticking and ensure a smooth surface.
- Decorate Quickly: After dipping the Oreo balls, add the decorations for the snowman face while the chocolate is still soft to ensure they stick well.

Notes
- Any Oreo flavor will work for this recipe, such as Peppermint, Gingerbread, Chocolate, or Golden Oreos. Use about 45 regular cookies to maintain the right texture.
- Avoid using Double Stuf or Mega Stuf Oreos, as they make the mixture too wet. If using them, reduce the amount of cream cheese to help the balls hold their shape.
- Don’t overheat the candy melts, as they can seize and thicken. Use a double boiler or melting pot on low heat for a smooth, thin coating.
- If Wilton’s Snowman Sprinkles aren’t available, use black sugar pearls or black icing gel for the eyes and smile, and an orange sprinkle or tic tac for the nose.
