    • Let the onions and peppers develop nice caramelized browning for amazing depth of flavor
    • Slice the sausages into even pieces for even cooking.

    FAQs

What kind of peppers can I use?

Any color of bell peppers work.

Do I need to pre-cook the sausage?

Nope! Just slice and add to the skillet.

Which is better, kielbasa or andouille?

It's a matter of personal preference. Kielbasa has a milder flavor while Andouille is spicier.

    Can I add other veggies?

Absolutely, mushrooms, zucchini, spinach would all be delicious additions.

What are good sides for soaking up juices?

This recipe as is doesn’t really have a lot of juice to soak up. If you want it more saucy, you can add ¼ to ½ cup of Broth and let it simmer for a couple of minutes, then serve with cooked rice, pasta, crusty bread, or potatoes to soak up the juices.
