What to serve with this recipe
This rich, hearty pasta recipe with kielbasa pairs beautifully with a fresh green salad and some crusty bread to soak up any extra sauce. You could also serve it alongside roasted veggies like broccoli or brussels sprouts for a pop of color

How to store and reheat
Leftovers of this creamy kielbasa pasta will keep well in the fridge for 3-4 days. To reheat, I like to add a splash of milk or broth to reconstitute the sauce, then warm it gently on the stovetop, stirring frequently. You could also reheat portions in the microwave.

Helpful Tips
- Don't overcook the pasta. Al dente is perfect for holding up in the sauce.
- Use a good quality kielbasa or smoked sausage for maximum flavor. I used Polska kielbasa sausage.
- Stir frequently as it cooks after adding the pasta to prevent it from sticking.
- Add some red pepper flakes in addition to the cayenne if you like an extra kick of heat.
- You can garnish with parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
FAQs
Absolutely! Andouille, chorizo, or even ground Italian sausage would work nicely.
You can simply omit the kielbasa and add extra veggies like mushrooms, spinach, in addition to the bell peppers in the recipe.
Shells, rigatoni, even spaghetti would be tasty options.

My family and I love this recipe! I’ve made a few times since I discovered it. The only thing I change is omitting the tomatoes (because picky eaters) and I use Dan-o’s instead of Italian seasoning and add paprika. It has become a family favorite ❤️ thank you so much for this recipe!!
