Mini Eggs White Chocolate Pretzels Bark
Equipment
- 11x7 baking sheet
- Parchment paper
Ingredients
- 22 oz Ghirardelli White premium chocolate chips (sub with 5 (4oz) white chocolate bars)
- ½ cup Cadbury mini eggs (roughly chopped)
- ½ cup pretzel twists (broken into smaller pieces)
- Assorted spring mix confetti sprinkles
- Gel food coloring: blue purple, yellow
Instructions
- Prepare a 11x7 inch baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper. Then set it aside.
- Using a double boiler over low medium heat melt the chocolate chips or bar stirring frequently to prevent overheating and seizing of the chocolate. Continue stirring till fully melted.
- Once fully melted, transfer approximately 3 tablespoons each of the melted chocolate into 3 separate small mixing bowls reserving the rest for the base of the chocolate bark.
- Into each small bowl, add 1-2 drops of a different colored food coloring and mix thoroughly with separate spoons to avoid color blending.
- Pour the uncolored melted white chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and use a spatula to spread it evenly into a rectangular shape.
- Immediately dollop or drizzle small amounts of each colored chocolate over the plain white chocolate base in an alternating pattern. Use a skewer to swirl and create a marbled effect.
- Decorate the surface of the chocolate by sprinkling chopped mini Cadbury eggs, pretzel pieces, and sprinkles over the top.
- Place the baking sheet into the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes to allow the chocolate bark to set and harden completely.
- Once set, you can break the bark into rustic pieces by hand or use a sharp knife to slice it into neat bar portions before serving.
