Blanch the green beans
Bring a pot of water. Add the green beans to the pot and blanch for 2 to 3 mins.
Toast the almonds
Heat up oil in a cast iron skillet. Add the slivered almonds to the skillet and toast for about 30 secs stirring frequently. Add the minced garlic and continue to cook for another minute or until the garlic is toasted and the garlic fragrant.

- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- ½ cup slivered almonds
- 3 - 4 garlic cloves (minced)
