    How to make crockpot cube steak and gravy

    In the crockpot, Add the mushroom soup, beef broth, onion soup mix, gravy mix, garlic powder and black pepper if using. Stir till well combined.

    Add cubed steak pieces in an even layer. Spoon some of the gravy over the top of the meat before adding the sliced mushrooms.

    Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until steak is fork-tender and cooked through. Check the steak half way through to ensure all pieces get coated in gravy.

    • 2 pounds cubed steak about 6-8 pieces
    • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz each)
    • 1 cup beef broth
    • 1 packet onion soup mix
    • 1 packet brown gravy mix
    • ½ teaspoon garlic powder optional
    • ½ teaspoon black pepper optional
    • 4 ounce sliced mushrooms
    • Fresh parsley for garnish

    Instructions
     

    • In slow cooker, stir together mushroom soup, beef broth, onion soup mix, gravy mix, garlic powder and black pepper if using.
    • Add cubed steak pieces in an even layer. Spoon some of the gravy over the top of the meat before adding the sliced mushrooms.

    • Halfway through, check steak and gently stir, making sure all pieces get coated in gravy.
    • When cube steaks are done, garnish with chopped fresh parsley.

    1. You can use low sodium beef broth instead of regular beef broth.
