- 2 pounds cubed steak about 6-8 pieces
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz each)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder optional
- ½ teaspoon black pepper optional
- 4 ounce sliced mushrooms
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In slow cooker, stir together mushroom soup, beef broth, onion soup mix, gravy mix, garlic powder and black pepper if using.
- Add cubed steak pieces in an even layer. Spoon some of the gravy over the top of the meat before adding the sliced mushrooms.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until steak is fork-tender and cooked through.
- Halfway through, check steak and gently stir, making sure all pieces get coated in gravy.
- When cube steaks are done, garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
