In a small saucepan, combine the pistachios, sugar, water and salt.

Pistachio syrup recipe (Starbucks copycat)
Ingredients
- 1 cup salted Pistachios shelled
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Water
- A pinch of salt if using unsalted pistachios
Instructions
- Roughly chop all of the nuts and add in a saucepan.
- Add sugar and salt. If using in unsalted pistachios, then add water. Stir to combine.
- Bring water to boil then reduce to a simmer. Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Strain the syrup with a sieve. Then transfer to a jar and refrigerate till you are ready to use.
- Bake or air fry the drained pistachios to make candied pecans. You can use it as ice cream toppings.
