Reuben sliders
Reuben sliders bring all the flavors of the classic Reuben sandwich into these hand held easy to make sliders. Made with Hawaiian rolls, layers of thinly sliced corned beef, melty Swiss cheese, tangy sauerkraut, and Thousand Island dressing, these mini Reuben sliders are a crowd-pleaser for any party.
Ingredients
- 12 Kings Hawaiian rolls
- 1 lb corned beef (thinly sliced)
- 6 slices Swiss cheese
- ⅓ cup Thousand Island dressing
- 8 oz sauerkraut (squeezed and patted dry with paper towels to remove liquid)
- ¼ cup butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a baking dish.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom half in the dish.
- Spread Thousand Island dressing over the bottom half of the rolls.
- Layer half of the corned beef slices, then the sauerkrauts, the Swiss cheese and the other half of the corn beef slices.
- Place the top half of the rolls back on.
- Mix melted butter and parsley, then brush over the tops of the rolls.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until heated through.
- Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes until the top is golden.
- Let cool slightly, then slice and serve
Notes
- It's important to squeeze and pat the sauerkraut dry so that your sliders won't be soggy.
