I’ve got an interesting way to make a 4-ingredient guacamole recipe without skimping on flavor. I’ll show various ways to mix and match the traditional ingredients used to make this Mexican favorite based on what you have at home.
Slice the avocado around lengthwise just hitting the pit. Twist and separate the two halves. Remove the pit then scoop out the flesh into a mixing bowl or mortar.
Mash the avocado with a fork or pestle till you reach your desired texture, (chunky or smooth)
Stir in the lime juice and salt, then mix in the chopped tomatoes and onions till evenly distributed.
Serve with your intended sides
Notes
Mix and match ingredients based on what you have in your pantry
Use ripe but firm avocados.
Guacamole is best served at room temperature on the day it’s made.
