A Wreath charcuterie board is the perfect centerpiece for your holiday gatherings. In this post, I'll show you how to create a festive and delicious Christmas wreath charcuterie board that will wow your guests.
1cupwhole berry cranberry sauce(for filling the brie cheese round)
1cuphoney(for drizzling over cheese)
Fresh sage and rosemary for decorating the wreath
Instructions
Prep the cheese:
Cut the pepper jack into 1-inch cubes. For the cheese slices, cut them into smaller squares, and if you’d like, use a cookie cutter to make star shapes.
For the brie, use a large star-shaped cutter to cut out a star in the center. Scoop out the star-shaped piece and fill the space with cranberry sauce, jam, or honey.
Make the salami roses:
Lay out the salami slices in a row, overlapping them slightly.
Roll them up tightly and secure the shape with a toothpick.
You can make larger or smaller roses depending on the number of slices you use. Repeat this process with the rest of the salami.
Arrange the wreath outline:
Once the cheese and salami are ready, use fresh herbs to form an outer wreath circle on the board. .
Create a smaller inner circle to mark the center. Feel free to adjust the shape as you build the board
Assembling the board
Position the cranberry-filled brie round on the board.
Place the salami roses on opposite sides of the board.
Spread the crackers, nuts, and olives around the board in various spots.
Add the pepper jack cubes and the cheese slices.
Separate and either roll or fan out the prosciutto slices, placing them in two bunches on opposite sides of the board.
Fill any empty spaces with fresh fruit, then make adjustments by adding more ingredients as needed. Use the star-shaped cheese pieces as decoration.
Add finishing touches:
Add extra herbs to give the wreath a fuller appearance and refine the shape of the circle.
Serve and enjoy:
Serve the board with extra cranberry sauce or honey on the side and enjoy!
Notes
Feel free to use any sliced meats you prefer. Popular choices include pepperoni, salami, and prosciutto, but deli meats like turkey or chicken work well too.
Pick any cheeses you enjoy! Options like sharp cheddar, white cheddar, Monterey Jack, Colby Jack, pepper jack, Swiss, blue cheese, or mozzarella balls are all great choices.
For crackers, I like to mix different flavors, shapes, and textures. You can use Ritz or opt for an assorted box of entertainment crackers for variety.
