Air fryer apple chips are a delicious, way to enjoy a crunchy sweet snack. Today I'll show you how to make these crispy, sweet treats with minimal effort using your air fryer.
Make the cinnamon sugar by mixing the sugars with cinnamon.
Using a Mandolin slicer, slice the apples into thin slices about ⅛ inches thick.
Transfer the apple slices to a baking sheet then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar generously on both sides of the sliced apples.
Transfer the slices the air fryer do not overcrowd the basket. Sprinkle with more cinnamon sugar if needed.
Air fry at 320°F for 15-18 minutes, checking every 5 minutes and turning. Subsequent batches will cook faster because the air fryer has been preheated so keep an eye on them as they may be cooked in 10 to 12 mins.
Transfer to a cooling rack and let the apple chips cool, they will become firmer and crispier as they cool.
Serve immediately.
