White chocolate covered strawberries are a simple yet elegant treat that’s perfect for any occasion. Whether you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day, a birthday, or just craving something sweet, these chocolate dipped strawberries come together easily with just two ingredients.
1lbstrawberries(about 20 to 25 strawberries clean and completely dry)
2Bars Ghirardelli white baking chocolate (broken into pieces if using melting wafers a 10oz bag is fine.)
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil
Wash the strawberries and pat them completely dry with a paper towel.
Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth. Alternatively, use a double boiler.
Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off.
Place the dipped strawberries on the lined baking sheet.
Decorate by drizzling each with white chocolate using a fork or spoon.
Let them set at room temperature or in the fridge for about 15 minutes until firm.

Notes
For best results use good quality baking chocolate.
Make sure the strawberries are completely dry before dipping to prevent the chocolate from seizing.
If the strawberries are coming right out of the fridge let them sit out and come to room temperature before wiping. Any condensation will cause the chocolate to seize.
Use a heatproof bowl when melting the chocolate to avoid burning. Work quickly to dip the strawberries before the chocolate starts to harden.
Let the chocolate covered strawberries set at room temperature before refrigerating to prevent condensation.
