Pat the sirloin steak dry with paper towels and set aside.
Mix the salt, garlic powder, black pepper and cayenne pepper together to form a simple seasoning blend.
Add the seasoning to the steak tips and mix till well combined.
Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium high heat then add 1 tablespoon of avocado oil.
Once the skillet is hot, add some of the steak tips into the hot pan in a single layer.
Sear the beef tips until browned about 3 to 5 mins on each side.
When all sides are evenly browned and cooked through, transfer them to a plate and continue to cook the rest in batches until all the beef has been cooked. Remember to add more oil as needed in between batches.
After all have been cooked and transferred to a plate, turn off the heat, scrape off any bits that may be stuck on the skillet.
Turn the heat back on to low, then add butter to the skillet. Allow it to melt before you add the minced garlic. Sauté for about a minute or until fragrant. Be careful not to let it burn.
Return the steak tips back into skillet then stir to coat the beef pieces completely in the garlic sauce.
Turn off the heat and garnish with the chopped parsley before serving
Notes
Patting the steak tips dry will help the seasonings stick and help to form a nice crisp crust on the meat when cooking.
